DUNDALK — A man was injured after being shot during an apparent attempted robbery at a Dundalk apartment complex.
Police say a 49-year-old man was walking to an apartment in the 3000 block of Wallford Drive around 6:44 p.m. Tuesday, when he was approached by an unknown suspect who tried to rob him.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body as he tried to escape into the apartment.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
