GERMANTOWN, Md. (WMAR) — Montgomery County Police are looking for a suspect caught on video assaulting a 7-Eleven clerk.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. on January 13 at the Clopper Road location in Germantown.
Police say the suspect became irate with the clerk, and walked behind the counter and assaulted him.
In the video, the suspect is seen with some type of weapon in his right hand as he continues the assault.
A woman who police are considering a person of interest, comes behind the register and tries to escort the suspect away.
According to police, the suspect cut the chin of a second employee after they told him to leave.
After the incident, the suspect and woman left the store together. Police need help identifying both.
There's no word on what caused the suspect to assault the victim.
