GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Police are investigating after a bowling alley manager was beaten by a group of men over their refusal to wear masks.

It happened Sunday evening at the Bowl America on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.

The manager told police one of the men pushed him after he'd asked them to leave the bowling alley.

As the victim continued to escort the group outside, one man punched the manager.

The others allegedly continued to hit and kick the manager as he was on the ground.

Another bowling alley employee came outside to help, but they were also assaulted.

The suspects fled the scene before police could arrive.

The manager was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
