ESSEX, Md. — Police have found the driver and vehicle wanted in connection to an August 22 pedestrian involved hit-and-run in Essex.

The pedestrian was struck after crossing the northbound lanes of Route 702 near Middleborough Road, around 10 p.m.

Baltimore County Police say the pedestrian crossed against the stop signal.

After the collision the vehicle, described as a metallic green 2007 - 2008 Nissan Titan or Armada, apparently made no attempt to stop and kept going.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Potential charges are being reviewed by the County State's Attorney's Office. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call detectives at 410-307-2020.
