Police: 15-year-old fighting for her life after hit-and-run crash in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE COUNTY — Baltimore County Police are looking for a vehicle that hit and critically injured a 15-year-old girl.

Investigators from the Baltimore County Police Crash Team responded to the scene on Liberty Road near Marriottsville Road just before 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 4 after a 15 year old girl tried to cross the street and was hit by a vehicle and left fighting for her life.

The preliminary investigation revealed that as the teenager was crossing the street, she fell to the ground.

While on the ground, she was hit by a light colored SUV or pickup truck that was traveling westbound. The suspect vehicle continued to drive westbound on Liberty Road and made no attempt to stop.

The teen was taken by medivac to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with life threatening injuries where she remains in critical condition.

This crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
