BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating a homicide that happened in Baltimore County Tuesday afternoon.
Officials were called to the unit block of Stockmill Road, at around 5:10 p.m., to find one person, 28-year-old Wayniqua Johnson, inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. She later died at the scene.
Shaheem Muse,18, remains at the Baltimore County Detention Center charged with first degree murder.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Muse and Johnson had recently entered into a relationship.
Shortly after this homicide occurred, Baltimore County patrol officers took Muse into custody. He is currently being held without bond. A bail review hearing has been scheduled for November 29.
