BALTIMORE — On Monday night, Baltimore County's new top cop was in Dundalk listening to neighbors' concerns about crime and community involvement.

Police Chief Melissa Hyatt and County Executive Johnny Olszewski were talking about the Eastern part of the county where aggravated assaults are up. The public safety forums give community members a chance to share their concerns about what is happening in their neighborhood.

At her next public forum, Chief Hyatt will be listening to people who live in the Lutherville-Timonium community at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.
