BALTIMORE — McDonald’s surprised a local superfan and his family Monday.

Three-year-old Christopher Milecki has battled cancer twice. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease two years ago.

Christopher loves McDonald’s.

To let the company know how much it has helped her family during Christopher’s fight with cancer his mother, Mandi, reached out.

In partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland and in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Week, local McDonald’s franchisees Jeff Taylor and Casey Linthicum teamed up to throw a celebration for the Milecki family. It included some of Christopher’s favorite food from McDonald’s.

A representative from Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott’s office presented the Milecki’s a resolution Monday, Christopher was also given a $500 arch card.

As of last month, Christopher’s cancer remains in remission.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland is the only Ronald McDonald House in the state. It has been home to more than 40,000 families since its founding in 1982.
