BALTIMORE — McCormick & Company on Thursday announced Tradepoint Atlantic Industrial Park in Sparrows Point, would become home to their future state-of-the-art Northeast Distribution Center.
At 1.8 million square feet, the leased facility will become the largest McCormick distribution site in the world.
The 130 plus year-old Hunt Valley based spice company expects to complete construction and open the facility by the second half of 2022.
A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for November 12. Governor Larry Hogan and Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski are expected to attend.
Amazon, Under Armour and Perdue are among the other companies already occupying the old Bethlehem Steel site.
