BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — On Friday, Maryland residents staged a peaceful street action to support the impeachment of President Donald Trump following his incitement of rioters who invaded the U.S. Capitol Wednesday in an attempt to block the certification of electoral votes for President-Elect Joe Biden.

The street action is part of an ongoing, nonviolent effort promoting democracy by Count Every Vote! Maryland, a coalition of 72 religious and civic groups.

In addition to Friday's rally, members will also peacefully protest on January 11, at noon, outside the local offices of Congress members, urging our representatives to move quickly to impeach Trump for his actions.

Members will be protesting at the following locations on January 11:

  • Kweisi Mfume: 1010 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD
  • John Sarbanes: 600 Baltimore Ave, Towson, MD
  • C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger: 375 W. Padonia Rd, Timonium MD
