SAINT MARY'S COUNTY, Md. — A Maryland cemetery owner is apologizing after dozens of gravesite memorials were unceremoniously removed.
This happened at Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown, Saint Mary's County over the weekend. The cemetery's new owner started enforcing a decades old rule that holiday decorations have to come down after 30 days.
The owner gave a 20 day grace period before taking down the decorations.
He now says he's sorry and he won't take that type of action again.
