Man was robbed and assaulted outside of Arundel Mills Mall on Tuesday; suspects not found

HANOVER, Md. — A man was robbed and assaulted outside of Arundel Mills Mall Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

On Tuesday, at a little before 2:40 p.m., officers arrived to the 5D parking area of the Arundel Mills Mall for a citizen robbery. Once located, the victim told officers that he hired a uncertified/non-regulated ride from Baltimore City to the Arundel Mills Mall.

Upon arrive to the Mall, the male driver forced the victim out of the vehicle in the parking lot and then physically assaulted him. During the assault, a female passenger exited the vehicle and took money from the victim’s pants pocket.

The suspects then got back into their silver four door Toyota Prius and fled the area. The victim suffered minor injuries to his right eye, however he refused medical treatment.
