PASADENA, Md. — Fire officials believe a man was killed Thursday morning after reportedly being struck by a backhoe at a Pasadena construction site.

911 was called just after 8 am, when someone found the victim unconscious in the 600 block of 208th Street.

Paramedics ultimately pronounced him dead on scene.

Occupational Safety and Health were called in to take over the investigation.

Not much is known about the victim except that he's believed to be in his 50s.

It's unclear how he ended up getting hit by the backhoe.
