ESSEX — Baltimore County Police arrested a suspect responsible for shooting a man on Saturday.
At about 4 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Punjab Drive for a call of shots fired.
Responding officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene to continue the investigation.
Detectives determined that the incident was domestic related and identified the suspect as 27-year-old Ivan Tianto Turner Jr.
Turner was located and arrested in the Essex area.
He was charged with attempted first degree murder, first degree assault and firearm use.
He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no bail status pending a bail review hearing.
