While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials have determined that it started at 29 Prospect Square and spread to 27 Prospect Square. Both buildings suffered fire and heat damage.

29 Prospect Square is occupied by the Delaney and Bender Law firm as well as individual apartments; 27 Prospect Square is also apartments. Nobody was in either of the buildings at the time of the fire.

Investigators say an estimated $500,000 was done to both buildings.

No injuries were reported.
