HARFORD COUNTY — A juvenile is charged in connection to an assault at a pool after report of shots fired.
Deputies were called to the Fountain Green Swim Club in Bel Air around 9:17 p.m. Monday night. When they arrived, they found no evidence a shooting occurred.
The Harford County Sheriff's office now says an unknown person played gunshot sounds over a speaker, causing people to think there was a shooting.
Deputies learned that a 15-year-old boy assaults a 13-year-old boy and that 15-year-old is now charged with assault. This incident was unrelated to the gun noises.
There was an event was going on at the time.
Deputies say no weapon was found or used.
This evening at 9:17 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Fountain Green Swim Club for the report of shots fired. Deputies immediately responded and secured the area. (1/3)
