To celebrate Independence Day this year, Baltimore County will be hosting a free concert featuring Baltimore Symphony musicians at Oregon Ridge Park on July 3.
The “Independence Day Extravaganza” will feature food trucks, fireworks and music from the Lutherville Music School. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with the Lutherville Music School performing from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the main program at 8 p.m.
The county says that this concert will proceed as scheduled despite the announcement in May that the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra canceled its entire 2019 summer concert series.

A portion of the event will be funded using money allocated as grant funds for the Orchestra.
The “Independence Day Extravaganza” will feature food trucks, fireworks and music from the Lutherville Music School.
