BALTIMORE — All in-person student learning programs and meal sites at Baltimore City Public Schools will briefly pause the week after Thanksgiving.

During that time, Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 4, all students will participate in virtual learning. In-person learning and meal sites will reopen on Monday, December 7.

The Thanksgiving holiday may include travel for family and social gatherings that pose transmission risks for students, families, and staff. Caution is required, and this brief pause in in-person learning reflects the recommendations of health officials.

District offices will remain open, but the Enrollment, Choice, and Transfer Office and the Multilingual Enrollment and Support Center will operate virtually. Both offices will resume in-person appointments on December 7.
