ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Parents and students in Howard County now have a clear idea of what next year's school schedule will look like.
The Board of Education voted to have students return from summer vacation on August 30, 2021, with staff returning August 19.
Winter break will go from December 23 through January 3 of the new year.
Spring Break 2022 will run from April 11 through 18.
The last day of school is scheduled for June 14, 2022.
Five make-up days have been fit in at the end of the school year in case of weather closures.
