MARYLAND — With many of us working from home and staying inside more our vehicles are being used less.

AAA is urging everyone to make sure that their car is ready for the extreme arctic-like temperatures that are forecasted for late next week. But, what can you do?

First, check your tire pressure at least once every two weeks. The correct tire pressure for your vehicle can be found on you a sticker on your car's door jam.

Next, your battery and lastly, your windshield washer fluid.

Don't dilute it to save money because that could cause it to freeze and break the plastic bottle.

All of these things can be checked at AAA repair facilities and approved auto repair locations.
