WESTMINISTER — A heat lamp inside a chicken coop caused a house in Westminister to catch on fire, displacing a family of three.

At about 2:58 a.m. on Sunday, in the 2200 block of Old Washington Road, a passerby noticed the home on fire.

There were no injuries reported, but the fire caused $150,000 in damages.
