BALTIMORE — Starting Friday, GBMC will be making two significant changes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first is that GBMC will be requiring that all people reporting for work will have their temperatures checked on arrival. They will have stations set up for this and if an employee is screened negative for a fever, they will receive a sticker and allowed to enter the building.

Dr. John B. Chessare, President and CEO of GBMC, said in a video that employees will have their temperatures checked before entering the building everyday.

The second is that GBMC will now be requiring facial coverings at all places inside their building.

Dr. Chessare said to this point, it had only been a suggestion to have a facial covering.
