FREDERICK, Md. — The Frederick County Public Schools free meals program will resume Tuesday, February 16, for all students in school buildings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. All meals will be individually wrapped or compartmentalized.

Free breakfasts and lunches will be available to children in cohort A on Mondays and Tuesdays and to children in cohort B on Thursdays and Fridays. On days when students are learning in a school building, they may also take a free, to-go meal for supper that same day.

Also, FCPS encourages families who want meals for the days when students are not in school buildings (virtual days, weekends, holidays) to pick up additional food at the child’s school on a day when they are learning in the building, or visit one of the open community sites on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This outreach will begin Wednesday, February 17, at the following schools:

Elementary Schools:

  • Ballenger Creek
  • Brunswick
  • Butterfly Ridge
  • Centerville
