OCEAN CITY, Md. — Five people have been arrested in connection to recent violent crime in Ocean City.

On June 10, police noticed several individuals sleeping in a car. The rear tailgate of the car was reportedly riddled with bullets. Officers smelled marijuana and searched the car. Inside, police recovered a Glock handgun, an AK-47, and marijuana.

Ty’ant Kiaun Gibson, 18, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was charged with possession of the guns, while two juveniles and 19-year-old Ijahmiere Miquel Mckinney, also of Harrisburg, were charged with possession and intent to distribute marijuana.

It's unclear how, when, or where the car was shot up.

Three days later, around 3:30 a.m. police were called to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for a stabbing.

The victim had reportedly been in Ocean City when a verbal altercation quickly turned violent. During the attack, the victim was allegedly hit with a stun gun, stabbed, and stomped by multiple people.

Police identified one of the suspects as 21-year-old Alizae Giselle Lugo, of Lebanon Pennsylvania. He was arrested and charged the next day for first and second degree assault.

Police say the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

Though it's unclear where in Ocean City the assault occurred, a video of a large fight on the boardwalk surfaced on social media the same day as the stabbing.

At the time police said an arrest was made, but didn't release the suspects name. Police haven't said if the incidents are connected or one in the same.

Earlier in the week, 20-year-old Isaiah Foster, of Cambridge, was charged with an unrelated robbery.

Meanwhile, police are still looking for the suspects responsible for a violent attack caught on video that took place overnight, on June 14 near 4th Street at the Boardwalk.
