PARKVILLE, Md. — A fight at Parkville High School caused a brief lockdown Tuesday afternoon.
Baltimore County Police were called to the scene and said there was mention of a weapon being involved, but could not yet confirm it.
"There was a brief lockdown at dismissal so school could check out a rumor. Nothing came of it, however, and it was lifted after 10 minutes," a school spokesperson said in a statement.
The school ended up dismissing at its normal time.
