Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place in Frederick County Monday.
According to officials, at around 3:15 p.m., troopers arrived at the collision on I-70 westbound on Braddock Mountain near the 46 mile marker, prior to Hollow Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling westbound when they had a tire blow out, causing them to strike the embankment and roll over.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 71-year-old Cecilio Ona Bernabe Jr. Bernabe was pronounced deceased on scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
