BALTIMORE — Skip handing out candy to kids this Halloween! Instead, slide it to them!

You'll see fewer trick-or-treaters this year, but if you still want to hand out candy a former coworker of ours has an idea!

George Stover, who was a photographer with us back in the day showed us his Halloween candy chute!

He says he goes all-out for Halloween every year and didn't want to stop because of the coronavirus.

So he found plans for the chute online and got to work on putting it together!

"You put the candy in and gravity takes over and nobody has to touch anything, and we'll wear gloves so that we're safe and it keeps everybody at a safe distance, and they still get to do Halloween."

George says it's pretty easy to make-- just some p-v-c pipe, a mounting bracket or some duct tape and some spray paint is all you need!
