The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a murder from May of 2018.
On May 12, 2018 police were called to an address on the 1400 block of Greenwood Church Road in New Windsor. The call was for a 55-year-old woman with a medical emergency.
When detectives arrived they found Teresa Drury with life threatening injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died. An autopsy was conducted and the Medical Examiner ruled Drury's death a homicide, by blunt force trauma.
Detectives identified Nicholas William Dolly, of New Windsor as a suspect. The 23-year-old was taken into custody Saturday March 30, 2019. Dolly is being charged with first degree assault and second degree murder. He is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center with no bond.
