ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 34-year-old Annapolis man has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars for breaking into a home twice in as many years.

Last year on October 14, a woman noticed her purse and money missing from her home on Silopanna Road.

Home surveillance video caught Damien King outside looking through the kitchen windows, before breaking-in.

The victim recognized King from multiple times in the past, when he'd knock on her door "looking for work," and also from a time in November 2018 when he attempted to break-in.

Around that same time, King had also broke into a nearby home on Spa Drive.

He ended up spending 18 months in jail for both crimes.

Despite being ordered to have no future contact with the victims or their homes, it was just six-days after his release that King returned and again targeted the Silopanna Road house.
