BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police have identified a suspect they say admitted to stabbing a man to death Monday evening.

Officers were called to the 200 block of S. Ballou Court just before 7 pm.

Upon their arrival, police discovered 39-year-old John Noel in a bathtub suffering from stab wounds.

He later died at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

On scene, officers spoke with 36-year-old Eric Nash who confessed to the stabbing.

Nash was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives, where he admitted for a second time to committing the crime.

He's being held without bail on charges of first Degree Murder.

Police haven't revealed any motive or relationship between Nash and Noel.
