BPD: Fleeing stolen car crashed twice injuring a person Wednesday morning

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say a stolen car they were pursuing hit two other vehicles injuring at least one person, Wednesday morning.

The car caught the attention of Southwest District officers when a License Plate Reader alerted that it was stolen.

Officers tried pulling the vehicle over, but it refused to stop and later hit another car.

As the car continued to flee, Baltimore City Police called the Baltimore County helicopter unit for help.

The suspect ended up running a red light and crashing into a second vehicle, at the intersection of Frederick Road and Paradise Avenue in Baltimore County.

One person was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The driver of the alleged stolen car, was arrested with charges pending.
