BALTIMORE — There's an urgent need to replenish the blood supply.
So, on Sunday, the Blood Bank of Delmrva teamed up with the Baltimore Ravens, and the Maryland Stadium Authority to host a blood drive.
It took place Sunday inside M&T Bank Stadium.
"Today, we have about 70 people donating whole blood. And about another ten or dozen people donating convalescent plasma, which is great product that helps people who are still in the hospital with COVID-19."
Many community groups have had to cancel their blood drives due to the coronavirus pandemic.
