BALTIMORE — Car, after car, after car, a lot of preparing brought a lot of good for the Bea Gaddy Family Center.
The center spent their morning helping others put food on the table for the holiday.
It's something they've done for 38 years and typically they serve 50,000 in the community.
The pandemic and a lack of volunteers made that impossible.
The group's executive director said, she's just happy to help where she's able.
“This is my thankful Thursday, and I'm thankful for all the volunteers that came out here and the volunteers down at the restaurant center handing out meals.”
Families getting meals today didn't just get turkey and the usual Thanksgiving items.
