BALTIMORE — Police on Wednesday afternoon made a gruesome discovery in the backyard of a North Baltimore home.
Just after 4:30, officers found the remains of a 28-year-old woman inside a large plastic container that was left outside in the 1100 block of Gorsuch Avenue.
Detectives went to the location after receiving a tip that someone had been killed there.
The victim has been identified as Mason Moldoven. Police say she lived at the home, and appeared to have been stabbed to death.
An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.
Police haven't released any possible suspects or motive in the case.
Moldoven's family has set up a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.
