PIKESVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a suspicious death in Pikesville.
Police confirmed on Monday that they are investigating the death as a homicide.
Police responded to the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in the 400 block of Reisterstown Road at around 7 a.m. Sunday for a call of a sick or injured subject.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman laying on the second floor hallway of the hotel, suffering trauma to the upper body. Medics responded and pronounced her dead.
Police identified the victim as 43-year-old Lashawnda Saran Sanders.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Department's Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and ask anyone who may have additional information to call 410-307-2020.
