LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. — Baltimore County firefighters responded to a dwelling fire in Linthicum Heights on Thursday, just after 5 p.m.
Fire personnel responded to the report of a fire in the kitchen of a home. Upon further investigation, it was found that the kitchen fire had been mostly contained by a neighbor using a fire extinguisher.
To ensure the fire did not extend any further, firefighters extinguished hot spots in the kitchen.
According to officials, paramedics transported a 59-year-old man from the home to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. The man was reported to be in good condition with a medical complaint.
