TOWSON — The Baltimore County Board of Education approved system-wide raises for the 2023 fiscal year.
The raises are nearly $50 million. Board members say that money will come from a general fund for now.
The board also approved moving $2.7 million from its food service budget to give extra compensation for those employees.
