BALTIMORE — Baltimore City on Friday launched a new online dashboard for COVID-19 vaccination rates.
Mayor Brandon Scott urged residents to use caution going into Super Bowl weekend.
But he did share some good news, citing positivity cases down more than 50 percent.
Still, the main issue according to city leaders is the need for more vaccinations and the ability to get them in peoples arms.
While the state opened its mass vaccination site at the Baltimore Convention Center, Scott continues to ask the state for data showing shots are being administered equitably.
To get a vaccine you first need to fill out a form expressing interest. Then later, someone will reach out to schedule an appointment.
So far only 7.38 percent of the city’s population has received their first dose vaccination, with 2.535 percent receiving their second dose.
