Associate at Kohl's distribution center in Edgewood test positive for COVID-19

EDGEWOOD, Md. — An associate at Kohl's e-commerce fulfillment center in Edgewood has tested positive for COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Kohl's said the associate is getting appropriate medical attention and that they took appropriate steps notifying associates that may have had contact.

Beginning on May 2, Kohl's said they temporarily suspended operations in their e-commerce fulfillment center in Edgewood to conduct a deep clean of the facility. They are paying associates for any scheduled shifts during the temporary closure.

Kohl's said they have increased their efforts to clean and sanitize their facilities and are also monitoring guidelines from local and state officials and are assessing any reported cases of COVID-19 of their associates.

Kohl's stated the health and safety of their associates remains the top priority.
