BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Two Anne Arundel County natives made it onto the television show Shark Tank on Sunday with an invention that could forever change the way people keep their beer cold.
Austin Maxwell, Teddy Giard, and Logan Lemance created Kanga, a cooler that uses zero ice and can keep your brew ice cold for seven hours.
It's essentially a koozie made out of foam but instead of only being able to hold one beer, it can hold up to 30.
Maxwell is originally from Arnold and graduated from Broadneck while Giard graduated from Severna Park.
The trio met at Clemson University where they came up with the idea, which they say is kooler than a cooler.
Dallas Mavericks Owner and Celebrity Shark Mark Cuban was so interested in the product, that he cut a deal with the guys for $100,000.00 in exchange for 20% equity.
Cheers to Austin, Teddy, and Logan.
