BALTIMORE — With the increase in violence in the city, community leaders are working hard to protect our young ones.
Save Another Youth and Stop the Violence Coalition partnered to expand its community services by moving to a larger location.
On Monday, they kicked off their fundraiser seeking donations to help fund the work it's doing. The new facility will be the home to a stem program, tutoring services, GED prep, job training, recreational activities and a lot more.
Things that community leaders say the city's current centers lack.
The new headquarters for "Save Another Youth" will be in the Old Hauswald Bakery on Edmondson Avenue and Poplar Grove Street in Southwest Baltimore.
