A man was injured in a targeted early morning Randallstown shooting

RANDALLSTOWN, Md. — Baltimore Police say one man was injured in a Randallstown shooting early Thursday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., police arrived to the 9800 block of Tolworth Circle for a call of a shooting. Officers arrived to find the victim, a 20-year old man, in front of his house suffering a gunshot wound to the lower body.

He was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury and has since been released. The suspect, however, fled before police arrived. Police believe the victim was targeted.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate this incident, so anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call 410-307-2020.
