COLUMBIA, md. — A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in Columbia on Saturday.
Officers were called to the pathway near the 9400 block of Brett Lane just after 3 p.m. Callers said someone had been shot in the torso.
The unnamed boy, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Police are still looking into the circumstances that led to this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
