April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and ABC2 continues to work for you and bring attention to this growing issue.
On Thursday, we dug deeper into this problem with our special "Community in Crisis: Violence Against Women." We showed you how to talk to your kids about relationship violence and domestic abuse as well as providing some outlets for victims.
We partnered with the Greater Baltimore Medical Center for "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence." The walk is Saturday, April 16 and it starts at 11 a.m. Our own Charley Crowson, Christian Schaffer and Jeff Hager will be rocking red high heels and participating in the race.
Colleen Moore with the Walk a Mile committee joined us to talk a little more about the race and how we can combat this issue even further.
