New program gives students fast track to EMT career

Many young adults across the nation complain that school doesn't prepare them enough for the workforce. 

A new program in Baltimore City aims to change that.

Baltimore City Schools and the Baltimore City Fire Department have teamed up to provide an EMT program for students. 

Baltimore City Fire chief Jeffrey Segal and Dr. Michael Thomas joined ABC2's In Focus to discuss how the program prepares student for an EMT career.
