Thousands of people filled the War Memorial to see the inauguration of the city's 50th mayor.
Mayor Catherine Pugh said she hopes to continue to push the city forward. Supports said they hope the mayor creates jobs and growth in Baltimore.
Mayor Pugh said she will continue to work with the state and federal government to lower the crime rate and improve schools.
