Has texting and walking gotten so out of control that there needs to be a law against it?
Some say, yes. A New Jersey lawmaker said, no matter what the excuse, it's dangerous. She wants to make it punishable by a fine, or for people who constantly walk distracted, 15 days in jail.
A recent poll asked Americans if they're for a "law in your community that would ban walkers from texting or talking on a cell phone while attempting to cross a street?" Almost four out of ten people said yes, 15 percent were unsure.
