A renewed warning for those looking for love online.
A federal jury just convicted a Maryland man of taking more than $600,000 dollars from people he met through online dating sites.
Evans Appiah met men and women online, got close to them, then started making up reasons he needed money.
He used cash from his victims for himself, and to buy things to send to people overseas. Appiah could get up to 20 years in prison.
