A rally to show support for the Richard E. Israel and Roger “Pip” Moyer End of Life Option Act is planned for noon in Annapolis.

A 2015 Goucher College poll shows 60 percent of Marylanders support such legislation.
The current bill has 43 sponsors and co-sponsors, and a House version of the bill was heard last week.

The aid in dying legislation was originally introduced last year as the Richard E. Israel and Roger 'Pip' Moyer Death With Dignity Act. That bill never came up for a vote, despite months of debate.
