Thomas Manning became the first American to receive a penis transplant last month. He left Massachusetts General Hospital last week after recovering from the 15-hour surgery.
His doctors are hopeful he'll have full use of the transplant. Johns Hopkins Hospital is preparing to perform a similar transplant on a wounded veteran.
